Matthew sang his first number last night (Friday, 5th January) on the launch of Soapstar Superstar 2007. Not only is an army of teenage girls backing him to win, but his family are sure he will take the prize too.
Matthew's brother David said:
"We are all going to the show equipped with banners, badges and all sorts of goodies to help support him.
"Some of the magazines have tipped him to win, which of course he will.
"We all gather round the TV to watch the soap. It’s very exciting seeing him on TV and reading about him in the papers."
